October 2017: Join a small group.
Luke and I joined a group at our church called The Marriage Course. It's a seven week "course" that focuses on different aspects of a relationship each week. As far as I can tell, you don't interact with the other couples too much, but so far it's been really great for our relationship.
November 2017: Invite someone to church.

October 2017: Open a bank account.
You guys! I did it! I'll get into it a little bit more in my Expat Diaries post next week, so stay tuned for the exciting tale.
November 2017: Transfer or spend money from pre-paid cards.

October 2017: Have a phone-free date night.
Unfortunately, we didn't. We're so bad at turning on Netflix and spending an evening scrolling through our phone. Granted, we did go see Thor: Ragnarok, during which we didn't use our phones, but it wasn't exactly a whole evening devoted to being engaged and intentional with each other. We'll try again for this month because it's important to both of us.
November 2017: Have a phone-free date night.

October 2017: Host our first Dinner Club.
Well, I think I waited too long between having the idea (sometime in August, I think?) to following through. Everyone is still in, but we likely won't start meeting regularly until 2018 with everyone's chaotic schedules nearing the end of this year. So no dinner club this month, maybe not this year. But it's definitely still happening. Eventually!
November 2017: Host Thanksgiving for some friends.

October 2017: Finish 1 book.
Oy. I'm still reading Rising Strong. Slowly but surely.
November 2017: Finish 1 book.

October 2017: Go for a walk once a week.
My friend Taylor and I have been meeting a few mornings a week to walk around the park and sometimes do a circuit workout on the machines they have. Even though we didn't get every week, when we missed I spent the day walking around London, so I suppose that counts. Because of that, I've been getting 10,000 steps a day a lot more frequently than I had been.
November 2017: Do Pure Barre On Demand three times before the subscription expires.

October 2017: Eat paleo 4 days a week.
Maybe this was a bit too lofty of a goal for us. Our intention was to set stricter parameters so we don't rely on carb-heavy meals for dinner. However, with my mom's visit, and traveling to spend time with Luke's family, our goal fell by the wayside. We downed a few too many bags of crisps during our travels.
November 2017: Eat paleo 2 days a week.

October 2017: Start looking for a job.
I started. I mean I inquired a few retail shops about working, but I'm not able to apply until I have a visa that says I can work. Since most places do everything electronically now, I have to get all that sorted and provide it basically on the first page of an application.
November 2017: Polish my CV (résumé) so it's ready to go.
