9 Affirmations to Tell Yourself Right Now

Raise your hand if you're too hard on yourself.

Raise your hand if you save all of your most thoughtful, meaningful, kind words for others and keep none for yourself.

Raise your hand if the list of things you want to change is longer than the list of things you love about yourself.

Okay, great. Now that we're all here with our hands in the air, let's make a conscious effort to change this. It's time to save some kindness and love for ourselves. It's time to make a point to stand in front of a mirror and tell ourselves something we like, something positive. It's time to add affirmations and mantras to our daily lives because enough is enough. So here's what I'm working on. Repeat after me. Make edits. Write something new. Whatever you want to do, just give it a try.

I matter.

I am likeable. I am loveable.

I forgive myself. I free from my past.

I love myself just the way that I am.

I will hold myself to a standard of grace, not perfection.

I am adventurous and will overcome my fears.

I am in charge of how I feel.

I have the power to create change.

I am enough.
